So... you want to write for The Hoosier
Homeschooler? Cool!
The point of this web publication is to encourage
the writing of life narratives, essays, articles, and stories
about and by, people involved in learning outside the conventional
schooling methods.
Sure, that means homeschoolers, but it means
a lot more than that. People have an idea of what homeschooler
are, and most times, they're short on reality, and long on mythology.
We want to publish enlightening, intelligent, humorous essays
that portrays the diverse perspectives of those who educate themselves.
The first step is to believe that what you have
to offer, is of interest to someone. Second, write it. Third,
share it with us.
Submissions by e-mail should be in simple text
files, either within the e-mail or as an attachment. Send them
to HoosierHomeschooler-owner@yahoogroups.com.
Equerry first with photos or images or files
larger than 1 MB, before sending. Files larger than 1 MB that
are sent without first submitting a query letter, will not be
read.
That's about it. Enjoy writing, and sharing
your experiences in The Hoosier Homeschooler.
