Answer 0103: My daughter is 13 and loves school while her younger brother is begging me to homeschool him. Any ideas? Can or should we do both?

There are many parents who have some children going to public school while homeschooling their siblings. If your daughter is getting a good education, and you are happy with her progress in public school, then you might not want to consider taking her out of a situation she's happy with.

Her brother seems just the opposite, and if he's begging to learn at home... why not? Just don't be surprised if sister starts realizing how liberating homeschooling is, and reconsiders.

You might want to read, then have her read a book called The Teenage Liberation Handbook by Grace Llewellen.
