Answer 0102: Can I take my son out of school anytime, or do I have to wait until the end of the school year?

There is no time like the present. If you are considering homeschooling because you have been hearing more than one comment or 'red flag' from your son, about how he's not learning, or being treated badly, chances are that leaving him in that situation for more time, isn't going to be changing things any time soon.

People change schools for a variety of reasons all the time and at any time. YOU as parent, are in charge of your child's education and well being. If he is not getting what he needs from your public school, then YOU decide when changes need to be made.

See Getting Started FAQ 01 for more on how to go about transferring from a public school to your homeschool.
