From God is a Christian support group with monthly meetings and
activities in the Milan, Moores Hill, and the greater Dearborn
county area. The purpose of this group is to encourage and support
Christian homeschooling mothers, provide field trips and activity
opportunities such as monthly gym days, a spring co-op, a winter
Mom's retreat, and a Used Curriculum sale in June. There is a
monthly newsletter and meeting to help families stay connected.
Our activities take place in several different areas of Dearborn

Comments: Southeastern Indiana Christian Home Educators
is a ministry of Christian families who come together to give
and receive the support and resources that will more fully enable
them to provide a home education for their children in which the
Lord Jesus Christ is central and supreme. SEICHE operates as a
unifying association for Christian home school groups which are
made up of local group families. Both whole association and local
group activities and functions provide the context for fulfilling
the SEICHE mission. There are monthly events, and a web site to
keep members informed.

Inclusive Homeschool Network (WIHN) is an inclusive homeschooling
network whose purpose is to help homeschooling families in Dearborn,
Franklin, and Hamilton (OH) Counties and surrounding areas connect
with and support each other in the task of educating our children
at home. This network is open to families of any race, religion,
and nationality, and actively welcomes diversity among its members.
This is not primarily a parent support group but a means for families
to find and cultivate relationships with others around common
interests. This network will have particular appeal to families
for whom finding others with whom to explore shared interests
is integral to their approach to homeschooling, although families
of all approaches to homeschooling are welcome.

There
are several good regional and statewide e-lists for homeschoolers
throughout the state of Indiana. Because of the always changing
nature of many lists, it's hard to keep up with them. If you are
interested in finding a more specific or focused e-list, we suggest
you search YahooGroups.
You might also want to ask around on the IndianaHomeschoolers
List for recommendations. IndianaHomeschoolers is the largest
networking e-list in the state, and the best place to find answers
to most all homeschooling questions.

field trips and other activities for our children (and some for

It's time to start thinking of Skiing! Once again I am hosting
the ski club, SE Indiana Skiers at Perfect North Slopes. If you
are interested in joining, go to our
web site to access the online shopping cart for our club.
If you are misdirected, our club name is: SE Indiana Skiers,
Group name is: SE Indiana, and our password is: Letsski.
Our club day for lessons is Thursday, but as always, you are not
locked into that day to ski. I was just out at the slopes for
a meeting and they are working as hard as ever to make the upcoming
season the best they have ever had. They have been working on
Hollywood for all of the daredevils to make it more accessible.
Clydes Superslide is supposed to be a better place to ski than
ever before! One of the changes a lot of you may find interesting
is with rental equipment, they are now one of the only ski areas
in the nation to offer your rental to be skis and boards, so if
you just can't decide, you can try both with the same rental agreement!
I want to thank all of you who have been involved with SE Skiers
in the past and I look forward to another fun year at Perfect's.
