One of the more interesting things that has (IMO) become a catalyst in the chemical reaction we call the homeschooling boom, is the opening up of the internet.
After that, free web hosting sites.
Who better to take advantage of the wonderful media experience, than families that are not scheduled into institutions and institutional schedules for more than 180 days a year?
Homeschoolers are playing with, working with, and many are doing good jobs with these things we call "web sites."
